Paraphernalia? is it used for meth?
worried about a kid who is staying with us. found taken-apart
pens, a couple of things that looked like hardened roaches from
pot cigarettes, a grinder; we're missing a scissors, and a
letter opener. last night an odd odor in room with faint wax
marks on coffee table, along with the taken-apart pens. he stays
up all night and sleeps most of the day. Is it meth? |

yes,
the pen bodys are a dead giveaway. |

Re: Paraphernalia? is it used for meth?
You
can take a nail or small screwdriver and scrape the inside of
the pen casings- hold it over a dark paper.
If stuff comes out that looks like grains of salt, yep it be
meth.
Like Danimal said, the pen casings are a sure give away. |

Re: Paraphernalia? is it used for meth?
Pen
casing would be Meth. Scissors I would say is pot - can someone
verify this for me please. Staying up all night, sleeping all
day - Meth. Also, razor blades and cut off straws when they
snort it. My son used to mix it up with pot and Meth. |

Re: Paraphernalia? is it used for meth?
Pen casings: meth
Miscellaneous missing items or tools: often meth users lose
their sense of boundaries, and "borrow" things without asking,
forget to give them back. The person is probably doing little
projects all night and used the scissors and letter opener for
them. |

he
could have been smoking pot...
roaches?
....I mean marijuana ciggerettes?
scissors,
a grinder.
weed.
the candles could be for visual effects,
but more than likely it was to keep the lighter flicking noises
from your ears.
the pens were for smoking, possibly.
but MOST things you mentioned are reefer tools. |

Re: Paraphernalia? is it used for meth?
Many, many years ago when we didn't have a paper or pipe, we'd
try and smoke pot out of a pen casing. If that is the case, it
will be black and melted. They can't take the heat needed to
light pot and keep it going.
We often used a grinder to save our fingers from tiring from
cutting pot up. Sounds mostly like pot stuff to me too.
As to how to mix pot and meth....I believe my husband sprinkled
meth in the pot before he rolled it. Of course, I can't prove
it. |

Re: Paraphernalia? is it used for meth?
In a
pinch [and there were lots]I used candles and light bulbs to
smoke meth, and for light...having broken all the light bulbs in
the house smoking meth in them.... Kinda of a sooty mess but
hey, "stupid is as stupid does"
I've never heard of mixing pot and meth, pot always magnified my
psychosis about 10 times.....psychedeliosis,
not fun.[and stupid] |

A
bit less worried now -- at least about meth.
But he is on probation for pot so if he's using, he's going to
jail. For two years. He is only 17. |

down the road that dips his in opium.

I
meant the pen sounds like meth and possibly the candles.
you could look at where the pen screws together for white
stuff...
the rest is for pot I think. |

Re: Paraphernalia? is it used for meth?
One
thing to note: I know that pen casings CAN be related to meth...
BUT pens may also be taken apart & used for marijuana. More
specifically, ZEBRA pens can be used to make a fine pipe for
smoking weed.
I always used a homemade Zebra pipe that my hubby made to smoke
weed... all the way up until I quit a few weeks ago! His theory
on the Zebra pipe was that it packed just enough to get a good
head change & would not be as obvious to an outsider if they
found it.
Heh! Scented candles might be burned as an attempt to cover up the
smell of pot.
We lit candles every night when we smoked pot... just in case
someone should stop by unexpectedly. |

Yeah, we potheads are brilliant. Candles and incense to cover up
the smell of POT??
Had to at least try, I suppose...... |

Re: Paraphernalia? is it used for meth?
I
took a pen apart last night for someone who was trying to unclog
his bong...I probably leave pen cases around people's houses all
the time when we are smoking pot, i hope I haven't gotten anyone
in trouble, accused of using meth!! But I swear I wasn't at your
house last night!! |

Re: Paraphernalia? is it used for meth?
I
had a friend that smoked pot, heck I had a lot of friends that
smoke pot , some of them would put candle wax on their finger
and thumb. This is so that they can smoke pot without it burning
their fingers. I guess they were too lazy to a clip ? |
