Nitrous oxide
same as huffing?
I walked in on dumb ass sucking on a bottle of air duster. What the hell is this about? He said he was taking a shot of nitrous? (sp?) "just to catch a quick buzz" as he put it. Is that the same thing as huffing? OMG...do I dare ask what next?? What damage can this do? Like he needs anymore damage to his poor body!! thanks- |

Its far from harmless, but its not like huffing chemicals. How old is this person? Nitrous is mostly used by high school aged people. The high as I recall isn't that great. It lasts for 20-30 seconds, and gave me a headache. It is used to make whipped cream. I heard that laughing gas from the dentist contains nitrous, but I'm not positive that is correct. |

Just to clear things up, Nitrous is NOT an ingredient of Dust-Off. Dust-OFf is compressed air with something called R2. It's a refrigerant. Read the link above. |

OMG!! he is 36yrs old!! Good God!! I printed the article, not that it will do any good. I told him well I guess it is better that cathing you taking a hit from your meth pipe! but I guess that is not the case! Thank you for helping me to find this info. Come on Lord, please help this lost soul of a man and help him find the help he needs!! I can't take much more! |

Yes, he needs to read the article. My cop neighbor sent me the terrible story of a cop's son that died from it. It is refrigerant and it basically can kill anyone at anytime. I posted the story on here and no one had even heard of that "new high". Wow. 36 huh? Well, just validates my feelings that a 42 year old meth addict I know is probably really working with a 15 year old brain if not 12! Oh h3ll! Take care of yourself and I'd guess I'd throw out all the air duster-it's not that cheap (he might not go out and get more) and he'd be better off doing meth. luvya |
